  • "I’ll have a word with Paul though because he said she was probably going as fast as she was able to so when the better hurdlers come out it might be difficult. So far so good."

Enough in that quote to make me cautious about taking a short price on her

She'd win it, but surprised she'd go to Down Royal- it's a G3, and she's just won one!

        The time explains that.
But you're correct with the price angle now. for this race in particular.

I read that as she needs a stiffer test/track perhaps. 2m around Cheltenham will be perfect

Absolutely, she is good enough to win a normal MNH already.

The fact the King of MNH winners is talking about the Grade 1 Royal Bond tells us all we need to know about her ability.

It was fast ground today, she should be fine on slower ground at the Festival, in the Grade 2 MNH.

Unless she proves to be even better than that

            • RPRs have given her 148.....

              That's higher than Concertista 147, EDS 138 + Let's Dance 146.

              Same as Limini.

              Laurina was higher with 154.

She does look the real deal to me. Fancy prices won't be around for long I suspect with her. Similar to when Laurina was pumped in her winning year

                • Not jumping in at this stage
I'm sure Mullins has 1-2 others he fancies and will keep hem back for another 1-2 months

There going to have to be better than average MNH winners to beat the RPR that today’s mare put up.

Absolutely. There is no law to say the best horses do not appear in October especially this year which is like no other.

                      • Very unusual for Willie to run a horse 3 times already if he thinks she's the best Mare he has. Like others I think he might have better in the yard however only time will tell.

                          • Part of W. Mullins post race interview was I'll have a word with Paul though because he said she was probably going as fast as she was able to, so when the better hurdlers come out it might be more difficult.

                            • I think Goodbye Someday has probably ran a personal best today and still been trounced. The winner is a slick hurdler and looks as if she has bags of pace. That isn't a recipe for going up in trip. She might well be good enough to run in a Supreme but how many of his good fillies and mares has the trainer run in that race? It is about winning as many races as possible at the Festival and he is almost certain to have geldings good enough to run in the Supreme.

                              • I hope I don’t regret it but I cashed out my bets on Princess Zoe and re-invested I’m Hook Up and Gypsy Ireland. I don’t know that much about mares flat racing but yesterday’s win seemed to big a victory to revert back to muddy big field winter hurdles.
