Yeah, sod backing Princess Zoe at 20/1 or shorter, I can't get on the train, but fair play to those that got on early at 66's or anything around that price. Makes her an exciting proposition that.

Princess Zoe will be clear favourite if she takes to hurdling as she is clearly very talented on the flat. She easily won her last race after only 4 days after winning another ultra competitive Galway Festival handicap. She's now rated 101 and the likelihood is that this will increase if she runs well in the Cadran. I don't think the connections are running her for fun. I'd be happy with 16s with cashout as she'll be half that price if jumping well enough on her hurdle debut. I always say to myself that if I'm late to a party, I'm still going to join in and make the most of what's left!

Fair play to those on at 66/1 but the current price is ridiculous, even if connections have said it’s the end goal.
Hope you get a decent run for the price though, always good when something like that comes together.
But we all know it’s WP Mullins that wins the mares novice

I will definitely be backing a WPM mare or two as well.
His connections have bought well for many years.Last edited by Saxon Warrior; 3 September 2020, 10:30 AM."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

But 50/1 happy to give it a go for now.

As we always say trainers are creatures of habit. Hoping another year to strengthen up after being over here for a while with Mullins will do her good. Also the fact she only had 2 hurdle starts over here, straight into the Grade 3 and then the triumph. She will hopefully have bundles of improvement this season.
Edit - I’m sure Ricci’s racing manager put her up as his one to follow in Mark Howard’s book last year, so we’ll thought of. I know that doesn’t always transpire though.

She interests me, and was one I got priced up. Has close enough form ties with Hook Up/Burning Victory. Problem is, in relation to Hook Up, there is not much juice in the price. Was hoping for bigger for sure.

Princess Zoe (OR 101) has an entry next Wednesday in the 6.05pm at Galway. The Listed - Oyster Stakes over 1M4F.
Also Ennistymon (OR 106) entered for AOB and Buildmeupbuttercup (OR 99) for WPM, and Joseph has two in their with official ratings of 104 and 105, so it could be a really competitive race."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

One other is Echoes In Rain, think Scooby mentioned her when Mullins bought her. She was chucked into a grade 2 and not seen since. Again you’d like to think there will be plenty of improvement from her.
