      Princess Zoe.
      About 10 minutes in.
If she wins Saturday and is a grade 1 winner. Mullins suggesting they may seriously rethink the hurdling campaign,
basically saying they'd be stupid and unfair to the horse to go hurdling if she is a grade 1 winner on the flat.
Makes sense, so I'm sure it's no surprise.

"if she wins saturday I wouldn't be backing her antepost for cheltenham" - Mullins

it's not set in stone. Obviously.
Was always going to happen. She's the opposite of Goshen !

        They didn't ask that .
        fucking amatuers

I'd say they'g go for another group one in France - the one he mentioned.

Backers should be hoping she gets her arse kicked, then all bets are back on.

That would actually solve the problem - back her to cover your stake.

If she wins, no net loss.

If she loses, she is back on course for the race....

            • Looks like for P Zoe its all down to Saturday, if she wins very unlikely to go hurdling

I'm sure people who had been backing her believed they were getting value in their opinion so I wouldn't say it taught them any lesson as we're all aware of the dangers of antepost betting.

At least in this situation, her backers still have time to decide whether to cash out or not( if available to them).

The lesson is to learn when a value price has gone though isn't it

At 66/1 and 50/1 - the chance she doesn't run is worth risking.

If 'people' backed her at anything near her current price, I think there is a lesson to be learnt.

Also, just because it's somebodies opinion doesn't mean it's right. When a horse was available at 66/1, I feel like FOMO can kick in for people and they have to get it onside rather than just let it go. Attempting to get her in roll ups or in those RAB's, I consider a mistake. Of course my opinion could be wrong there too, happy to discuss that.

Using cashout minimises the risk to a very, very large extent, and I'm sure the majority will get away no harm done - as I intend to do with plenty of novice hurdlers this season whilst I can.

                      • Its a 2M4F Group 1 on possibly soft ground.

Would be a great feat for Princess Zoe to win on Saturday, most horses don't win a Group race on their first start in one (outside of 2yo's and after they have had a minimum of five runs).

A new trip for PZ and a first go in any group race after 20 runs.

It would be remarkable if she won.

I'm expecting her to run well and to fade in the last two furlongs.

But she has improved so much, I've backed her to win, just in case the amazing story continues.
                        - and - of course - because her form gives her a decent chance.

                          • If they all turned up on Saturday, it would be a funny old world where she started at a shorter price than an Irish Derby winner.

She still has it all to do to win. Shes never ran over that far has she ? Plus she has never travelled away before. Lots of hurdles to cross..........ooops, not hurdles.....hoops to go through maybe.
