I cashed on a bet I had on her a few weeks ago for a profit. She was way too short for me and a daft price. Like Shiskin she had done enough to justify being that short. I still like Floressa and looking to cover her when I see a decent price. She was very novicy LTO and got bumped around a bit but she’s definitely good enough to get competitive in this.

I meant ‘she didn’t justify being so short in the betting’ just to stress and I was surprised the cash out was so generous so fortunately got lucky this time and didn’t get my fingers burnt.

Has anyone heard anything about Royal Illusions participation in this race? Her odds are continually erratic for this race, some bookies have her short, others don’t feature her and the exchange is 80 plus one day and single figures the next? I know she has very good flat form but finished 9th in her last hurdle race. Will she be at the Festival??

I wouldn’t give up on jeremys flame here. Gavin Cromwell thought she was a graded horse in a handicap at the DRF and she duly went off joint fav for the mares handicap. She was badly hampered by a faller in that race and was allowed to come home in her own time. She drifted in the betting since that defeat to 16/1 but I think she’s perfect for this race and she’s slipping under the radar
