Looked better for the better pace and gave weight away. Don't think she's quite as good as Honey though.
You'd normally doubt the form turnaround also, but it's WP Mullins race this one and it'd be no surprise.

Minella Melody seemed to find a stone on her previous run.
Colreevy was backed but doesn't jump well enough and looks slow.
If Marie's Rock handles Cheltenham then she will be very hard to beat but you could have said the same about Epatante last year and she was just about the biggest disappointment of the meeting.

But with Novice hurdle race and beginners chases and similar, it is rare for a race to be ran at what I call 'championship' pace.
It's when you get a good gallop in a graded race that they show there true ability usually.
It makes it a dangerous game betting on novice races at the festival as some will turn up without any solid races behind them.
For example (to name just three), The Big breakaway & Shishkin & Maries Rock (all clearly talented) have not really been tested as yet. So you're going in a little blind.
The Dublin festival next week is a massive advantage for the Irish horses as the novice races there will be almost on a par with what they'll get at Cheltenham.
Obviously you can get the odd championship race run at a dawdle and plenty of graded races too.
But the maidens and grade 3's/listed are often falsely run.
