      You havent seen lamarckise yet.
And I wouldnt be ruling out the 2nd and 3rd on that display.

      • Big run from Dolcita given the drift. Think she’ll turn around that form at Cheltenham but either may not be good enough for Lamarckise

          Hence I said 'might'

No obvious reason why the 2nd and 3rd will turn the form around though. Colreevy got the run of the race from the front but didnt have the gears after the last and Dolcita didn't hurdle fluent enough to get tabs on them at the business end.

          • Winner did it well under penalty. Has to go fav now but have we seen the winner? I'm not sure

Yep, the british could be better this year, we might get a gauge in a bit at donny.
But Minella was the better horse in that race by a a few pounds I reckon.
Colreevy would be better held up off a fast pace and staying on though.

Unless you know tactically what rope colrreevy will be given and what the ground conditions are.

Or how dolcita will jump/ be positioned within the pack in the Mares nov.

The we dont know the answer to will they turn it round. Its 2 horses within 3L of the winner. In a completely different race.

I think there’s good improvement to come from Dolcita, she did incredibly well to finish that close despite the jumping errors. Market and jockey bookings told the story on her there so I’d assume the Mullins stable didn’t think she’d be up to it today for whatever reason. With jumping improvement she’d turn that form around for me

                  • Lets watch a proper mare in action at donny, she will take her place as rightful favourite!

The run of the race from the front isn’t always a good thing... a lot of variables to consider before making it an advantage

                      • I don't think Dolcita backers should be too disappointed there. Couple of jumping mistakes could have cost her and its a relatively bunched finished. Could have been a lot worse despite not being ideal.

                        • Dolcita out to 9's on b365. Seems an over reaction to me. Sorts the jumping out, and she would have won in my opinion.

There would be no reason Rachael would give Colreevy too much rope? she knows what shes doing. MM carried the penalty and still looked well on top at the finish. We will see anyway, a game of opinions..
