Quite surprised they are going back over fences with Fakir after two failed attempts in France. Thought they would go Churdle in an open year or even Stayers. Perhaps they are just giving him another chance over the big ones.
The fences are completely different.
The french hurdles are more like our fences.

Would be a good performance Melon heating Fakir giving Weight. Thought Melons first time out record was poor but it's very good. Classy hurdler. Just hope he takes to big ones. Backed him again today as he could halve in price should he win.
Melon is the first horse out this season that I’ve got a really decent bet on for Cheltenham, hope he takes to fences. Looks a very tricky race to start out in, it’s certainly no egg and spoon easy novice
