Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • There is no Arkle trial at the Cheltenham Trials day at the end of the month is there? The shortest race is 2.4f. Is they another ‘Arkle’ trial before the Festival in Britain??

    • Altior ran in the Game Spirit in Feb, but that's open company so not exactly an Arkle trial.

      • When I say trial I mean a graded 2 mile chase before the festival. The Game Spirit is at Newbury which is left handed so probably is the last opportunity?? It was cancelled last year because of the horse flu outbreak

        • There's the Kingmaker at Warwick in Feb

          • Just seen Ruby say he thinks Melon up in trip and Baupaume a dark horse.

Sounds like a Kevloaf kind of e/w double

Ah yes of course, the Saint Kevidos route

This race is going to Ireland though TKP, so don't waste your energy

                • Still hoping that Dodgy Dan changes his mind about Nube Negra after that race and sends him to the Arkle after all!

I think you’re right Kev but still think Brewin will cause them a few problems if he turns up.

                    • You'd imagine Bapaume is very likely to come here as well with Faugheen likely JLT bound.

                      • Looking away from the top of the market, Put The Kettle On could be an EW value play at 25/1. Sprung a surprise in the Arkle trial making all, jumping beautifully and staying on up the hill well. Think the experience around Cheltenham will stand her in good stead vs market rivals who are significantly shorter. She may not necessarily have the class to win, but I think she is improving and has every chance of hitting the frame. Added her 25/1, then cashed stake, having rethought it added again

I have her down as one to back (like Ornua) for Aintree. Go out in front + she'll be hard to stop. Don't get me wrong, it'll depend who shows up there but i've her marked for that.

I quite fancy her for the nov handicap chase. Has the perfect mark. But not in the betting as of yet.

                              That's not a bad shout.

As soon as NRNB comes in to play all of the Mullins ones are going in combinations I think
