I know that some of the stopwatch guys on twitter were raving about his Sandown run.

Just wondering if Farclas would be a potential Arkle runner for Gigginstown.
Triumph hurdle winner and has won all three chase races he's ran in ....?.

Although I don't know for sure, I'd have him down as a JLT option myself, although there are so many of the Gigginstown lot I suspect the 'any race' option would likely be the call for them.

Will Gigginstown split their pack as much now?

Long term interest may have gone for them and just let Elliott put them in the right races?

Something tells me that they won't be able to help themselves !

I think your right Q, surely they'll want to go out with as many big winners as possible .
So maybe pitch a few in against each other .

                  That lands on both sides

Be interesting to see how Nicholls handles Pic D'orhy, because that run at the festival was not his true running, I don't believe.

I'm pretty sure someone on here or somewhere else has said he was brought for chasing, so it will either be here or the JLT that is the aim I'm sure, RSA would be a trip beyond him I think.

I've taken the 'any race' price currently, but is one I'm keen to add to once we see an entry.

They will go slowly with Pic D, with a view to chasing, no decision made as of 2 weeks ago but leaning towards another year over hurdles. The other interesting one for the connections is Danny Kirwan who wont be seen until the spring and is rated 120 over hurdles so youd expect they will be taking a big swing at something, although off that rating it wont be cheltenham, unless they can get it up before.

The angle with Pic D'Ohry was that his French form was better relative to our juvenile form ... going out of that company, do we expect him to make any great waves? Won't he now have lost that edge?

No trainer I'd prefer a chaser to be trained by than Nicholls but he's known for pot hunting rather than just focusing on Cheltenham?

I'd rather back him during the season than for the festival

Has anybody any thoughts on Getaway Trump for this. Finished the season very strong and looks like its got some size about him. Think it goes chasing and if so will be at 2 miles.

Of course, out of juvenile company he may be found out further, but I don't believe we saw his true running in the Triumph, he's better than that, he looked physical, and like a chaser that day too, so I would be surprised if they stayed over hurdles for yet another year, despite Billy's info.

Agree about Nicholls, but I feel if he thinks one is good enough for the festival he won't hold back, and Frodon done his duties during the season and turned up for the festival too!

Very hard for 5yos in the Arkle since they binned the age allowance.
