Hello Fat Jockeys,

      • Cheers HF. I’m of the impression she will be entered Lobos but I’m sure her odds have drifted over the past week and the cash out has definitely dropped.

For me, he's gone too far in trying to be against the grain. It worked for him at one point obviously, I remember watching a video of him talking about a horses ability being by far and away the most important thing.... dismissing things like ground, jockey etc...... whereas more recently I've heard him say his biggest angle is jockeys.... and he listed 5 that were the bee's knees...

Hopefully he's right with Sharjah, but Kevwise is on at 66/1 and 25/1 so Mr Segal is another RP tipster who can eat my shorts along with Gavin Lynch and David Jennings.

I like them all really, just insanely jealous of their jobs.
Not sure what his record at the festival has been like in past years bar last year.

He had a good year last year anyway!

              • Have to bear in mind if your horse isn’t entered you lose your dough. Think 365 probs suspend on the morning entries are announced, caught a few of us out last year especially for the less prestigious races

                • Saldier alls well and likely to go straight to Cheltenham according to Patrick Mullins today , music to my ears as Saldier best after long layoff. To my ears Patrick sounds rather bullish.

Great News - I think this is the best outcome anyway, considering how well the horse runs fresh. Probably always the plan once the Christmas races in Ireland were out the window. Be Lucky

Brilliant news. Perfect scenario. There's your Churdle winner.

                              • One positive update from Patrick Mullins and all of a sudden Saldier and this race looks rosy again for me ante post

I do agree with the forumites who've championed his record fresh. Not really by design but end result is the same and the trainer has numerous examples of producing his horses fresh at Cheltenham and winning big races.

If I had to pick the winner now, after that update, it'd be Saldier potential over Epatante's form in the book.

Sharjah if it was genuine good to soft ground would be my e/w play, which means it's still a tough race ante post if starting afresh
