Been sat waiting for news on elixir du nuit, hoping he might make a reappearance in international hurdle. Still at 33/1 he’s of some interest. I’ve had many worse 33/1 bets!!

Seen that on another page too. Owners appar have got the email that hes being aimed at the champion hurdle and goes to kempton next.
Personally dont think hes anywhere near good enough, even in a 'windy' looking renewal of the race.

I'd put a good dozen horses ahead of him right now.
Think Mr Nichols decision shows you what he thinks of the form, it's hardly stacking up is it ?

A lot has to go in his favour as regards to opposition falling away, and he needs to improve a fair bit.
Wouldn't say at 33-1 he's an absolute no-hoper though.

Getaway Trump will retain novice status but Al Dancer won't so that makes the decision far trickier imo. There's no need for Al Dancer to revert to smaller obstacles (me pocket talking )

Think you're right, it will definitely make then think a bit.
But angels breath arguably looked the better of the two.
And like I said, if Trump wins his hurdle race, or goes close.
Nigel will be twitching for sure.
