Hello Fat Jockeys,
Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum
We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Champion Hurdle 2020

The current fourteen races that have first entries are
Gold Cup
Ryanair
Champion Chase
Champion Hurdle
Mares Hurdle
Stayers Hurdle
————————
Supreme
Ballymore
AlbertBartlett
Triumph Hurdle
RSA Chase
Marsh Chase
National Hunt Chase
Arkle Chase
—————————
These fourteen races have early entry dates and because of that they all have second entry dates, where trainers have to pay a second entry fee to keep them in the race.
The second entry date for the six above the dotted line is Tuesday 11th Feb
The second entry date for the eight races below the dotted line is Tuesday 18th Feb
Therefore on Tuesday the trainers with horses in those six races will have to pay again to keep them in those races.
The Ryanair for example had an initial entry fee of £435, and to now stay in the race the second entry fee is double at a further £870.
The wording on the races conditions for the Ryanair says “scratch by noon February 11th or pay £870”.
The remaining fourteen races (incl all ten handicaps, Foxhunters, Bumper, Cross Country, Mares Novice Hurdle) havemuch later initial entry dates so don’t need, or have, a second entry fee to pay.
So on Tuesday some horses will be scratched and wont pay a second entry fee to stay in those big six races."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

I kinda already know the reasons this probably wont happen, but if the owners of shishkin and asterion forlonge are adamant about not running them in the same race, any chance they might like the look of pitting one of them against epatante rather than envoi allen?

I am leaving this race for now. So much up in the air over what goes and what doesn't.

I’m further away now than I was last April to finding the winner so I’m not chasing.
Half a dozen beers and a bottle of red by 3pm on the day and no doubt I’ll convince myself some 145 rated handicapper can win it....
