Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I'm all over this one, thanks for sharing.

        They've said it's likely.

His main target is Aintree ... but Jessie has pretty much said he's not going for the Stayers

Yes. Was a good re introduction. Should come on plenty as usual for the run, with the stiff finish and a stronger ran race sure to suit.

          I genuinely fancy him.

Yeah that Aintree hurdle is made for him.
Just wondered whether they would protect him for Aintree and Punch given he is now 10...

Not So Sleepy to his credit bolted in last time but off a very low mark, he seems very one dimensional in his run style, and i highly doubt he'll be good enough to produce an effort to fend off champion hurdlers from the front. Even in a weak year.
Darver Star has a trainer that now knows what it takes to win a Champion, has insane progression, for all Honeysuckle wasn't probably at her best and the form is already in the book.
If you are knocking the horse which you are then you are taking a swipe at his backers.

The big omission from your analysis is that Not So Sleepy has had five runs over hurdles.

Not So Sleepy might not end up being good enough but I would take his runaway Ascot win over Darver Star's pick up the pieces effort in a poor Irish Champion Hurdle any day of the week. The market obviously agrees.

There is an interview with Power on BoyleSports Twitter page saying he was probably going here then Aintree.

That Top 4 price from Sky is also NRNB, generous imo.

Jessica Harrington was thrilled with Supasundae's return to action in the Irish Champion Hurdle on Saturday.

                    • Thanks for clarifying Gents.
4 places does look a good play in such a bad champion hurdle...

                        Touché.

I am making a comparison to explain why i think DS should be shorter than NSS. His backers are on at much bigger prices than he is now..... MOM for example, i think he's on at like 60s?

Interesting, that's for that inspiring input. Market obviously does agree, but then going against the grain often works in this game.....

Your view on "picking up the pieces" is clearly different to mine.

                          What price is this?

I couldn't entertain backing him E/W for the race as is, but he'll be doing The New One and staying on, may get up for 3rd but I'd rather have 4th and 5th in the locker with him.

Think he's best suited to 2 1/2 myself.

                          • What chances does everyone give Klassical Dream? i have him in a number of antepost bets i put on in October/November time, some are Request a bets to place too. Looks like a chaser jumping hurdles on recent outings! Although i am on Epatante as my main hope.
