I don't place one iota of merit of trainers being bullish at preview nights. People have paid for opinions, owners have paid trainers for winners, so bullishly confident just comes with the territory. Its around this time of year that I watch previews from the previous year back to remind myself who chats general shit and who talks sense. Unfortunately, the majority fit the former

    • Aside from some early season aborted - cashed out bets, I've not done much in this race.
Pinned my hopes on Aspire Tower before Dublin, and that looks dodgy, but not dead now.
Actually still feel that A Wave of the Sea will be suited by the race the most, if he runs ?

But have added both today's with WH special's
      Fujimoto 22-1 & Solo 27-1 (both boosted)
Both quite fair prices for this type of bet, as if one of them wins you'd expect they go 8/9 to one. Possibly shorter than that if one looks super impressive.

      • Decent from Solo there and certainly the one I'd be worried about for Allmankind. Another Irish challenger bites the dust.

          Handy bet now

          • Nicholls has a good one there but that was a shocking ride to be fair

            • That was visually very very impressive to my eye...jacked up from the right horse clear of the remainder...

                  Decent?

That under plays it a bit doesnt it?

Fujimoto Flyer was well clear of the rest?

                  I think he looked superb?!

                      • Very impressive run. Fujimoto Flyer got a shocking ride from Jacob but wouldn't have mattered in the slightest.

He’s the master of getting a horse trapped one jockey I avoid. But like you say if any other jockey was on Fujimoto the result wouldn’t of been any different.

                          • Really nice performance from Solo and Paul said after that the triumph is the plan....where does that leave mick pastor? Different owners so does that make a difference?

I did add 'certainly the one I'd be worried about' so as not to play it down.

Fujimoto Flyer was given a poor ride and didn't give true running IMO.

Bad ride agreed but take Solo out there & people would be talking up FF as a decent winner of a recognised trial. Think you’re clutching at straws thinking she didn’t give her true Charlie. Watching the replay again I actually think Solo was wild impressive!
