  • Yeah bit of a flyer Craigy but it's NRNB so if she doesn't perform on Saturday your getting your money back. Good chance both mares will run at Fairyhouse as its the last chance they'll get before the festival. Jockey booking may tell us who's more highly thought of.

I think whichever one runs I’ll back before the off for here.

I have hook up when 365 went nrnb, burning victory and gjoumi are the other 2 triumph entered.
Same Craig. Awaiting the decs tomorrow morning!

Mind The Crack not declared at Warwick so not taken up any entries. They left him in the Triumph but can’t see it now.

On a related note I do find Harry Fry an extremely cautious type trainer. May be that his owners like it that way but you wouldn’t have thought both he & Skelton came through at Nicholls together - complete chalk & cheese approach!

I imagine a fair amount of that is due to firepower and just number of horses in training. Dan has had 3651 runners over the last 5 seasons whereas Harry has 'only' had 1154.

Harry Fry seems to only run horses in the bigger races if he is convinced enough that they can win.
Nothing wrong with that, I suppose, as long as his opinion is correct

That’s my exact point though Charlie....take Allmankind for example in this sphere....Skelton gets him off the flat, runs him early, wins a G1 & is now fav for Triumph. If Fry had him there’s no way he’d have done that. Skelton runs his horses a lot, Fry infrequently. I’m not debating that each horse is trained differently & each trainer has different styles. I just think Fry is very very selective. King Roland / ITCF being recent examples. It’s not even really a criticism - I just find it mad how they’ve come through the same tutor ledge but are SO different - testament to Nicholls I guess

                  • Mullins 4 running tomorrow...doesnt provide many clues for his runner here, unless you trust jockey bookings.

                    • Only two of them entered here, surely Danny had a preference over Rachel & she was just picking up a spare ride?

                      • Hook up and burning victory the 2 entered here, I’m sure.

The other 2 are not, so hoping one of the above turns out to be decent, receiving the allowance as well.

Strange if they are aimed here that townend isn’t on one of them? Presume he will be come triumph day.

’Ive a nice book of rides at Kempton on Saturday and I kick off with*FUJIMOTO FLYER*in the Adonis. She comes with a big reputation and her two wins have been very impressive in Ireland and in France. I sat on her at Emmet Mullins’ earlier in the season, she’s a bit of a keen sort but has plenty of ability. She’ll be fresh after her winter break and she could be one for the Triumph or Aintree. Hopefully everything will go to plan Saturday and we can discuss her spring targets after that.

                            • Chucked a few quid on Solo for this; more in hope/lack of a bet for the Triumph than anything else really

                              • Dont know if was bullish from Skelton or not on Allmankind. Had a dig at the Irish just. Still Goshen and Whatever PN puts in. Suppose didn't want to cause any heat with PN last night.
