Elegant Escapes chance of winning the gold cup doesnt increase if he wins today it actually decreases though it will increase if he falls or unseats early here.

No interest in Clan Des Obeaux now - made my money on him yesterday and easy to overlook him at Chelt IMO at that price.

I fear that he'll run in the Cotswold Chase in a months time.

I'd love a win today, but I'd then like him to do nothing and get him there fresher that last year.

Who knows with Tizzard Kev. Probably will run him in the Cotswold.

Native River was the luckiest horse alive when he got injured as it allowed him to be fresh for the gold cup when he won. Had he not been injured Tizzard would have almost certainly over raced him and he probably would have been over the top by the gold cup and would never have won it.
