I thought it was interesting right at the end of the ATR preview when giving their naps and ew selections Codd put up Koshari, I’ve heard little to nothing about this one (though I’ve done no work on the Coral Cup of such), it would have been nice if he’d been pressed on this selection but looking at the profile he immediately goes in the ‘interesting’ catagory...

Middle_Of_March Gal Road = Gowel Road I assume!

Cheers for that though, was a good read

One of if not the best previews I've ever seen followed comfortably by the worst.

I am one of those people that like Matt Chapman, but christ, I can understand why some people hate him. Not letting others speak has to be one of the most irritating traits on a Cheltenham preview. Kevin Blake could barely get a word out without some sort of silly interruption.

It just wasn't very good, at all. As Ista mentioned, covering 6 out of the 28 races is not a Cheltenham preview, certainly not in my book.

I'd actually like to see some previews on just the handicaps, or all the races that aren't Championship races. They have generally knowledgeable viewers and 15 mins on Shishkin v Energumene, or on CPS, or on Monkfish is largely pointless IMO.

          Anything on tonight?
This 100% - some sort of alternative preview that skim over the Championship Races where most punters will have formed an opinion already and then dig into the Handicaps and lesser graded races - find some value and offer some genuine insight rather than spending half an hour arguing over which of the 2 joint favs will win the Champion Hurdle.

Agree with that. I think his punditry in betting rings and market movers on ITV is very good, and when he has Chamberlain to reign him in, he stays under control, but sipping cocktails with a weak host in a shouting match, no thanks
It must be of some concern to them that the ATR preview is so little thought of? Even back when I was enjoying the pissed up chaos and griiefing Tony Keenan in the chat, most of the comments were "this is dreadful"

Would be nice if they could put it back up with a link to the charity.

I remember at the Dublin festival telling everyone on the WhatsApp chat after the race to rewind and watch him being given the most obvious plot of all time.

Took 20s any race straight away then too. Think he’s the coral cup winner at this stage as well.

The on the hunt podcast has just done separate podcasts devoted to handicap chase & handicap hurdles to be fair
