Thanks Smiley - sounds like you'll need to "pay monthly" then cancel after 1st payment has gone out - hope that's not a problem. Message me closer to the time and I'll make sure it's done.

I can say unequivoquley that the website and parts of the forum will remain free forever. There will be exciting new features and 'tools' that may involve subscriptions in the future but the heart of this place will stay the same. That's my intention anyway. The feedback was an overwhelming "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" which I've taken on board.

I would love us to get bigger and better, and will do everything I can to continue our upward trend, without losing site of what has got us to this point!

Potentially a donation to the Injured Jockey Fund as well however can't commit to that yet... but it is my plan to give back too.
If i can make a suggestion , we should try to raise enough to reimburse O.V and Kevloaf , and make an annual donation to the I.J.F .
Any surplus , Kept for a Rainy day, future Upgrades are inevitable .... Money where my mouth is . i will make a Contribution after the Festival
at the Latest , as i have had Covid and haven't worked for over a Month .. finances are a bit shaky at the Mo .... .

I know that it's not being suggested but I'd be strongly against any compulsory charge and, in fact, would probably opt out completely if that option were taken. It may sound perverse but I'd be more likely to pay more on a voluntary basis as and when I felt able or justified in doing it. Because of that, I think that it's quite important that the donate button should have a single payment option as the more complicated the process the less likely that people will participate. Other forums have this option so it's obviously not that difficult to set up.

I agree about it being voluntary. We will investigate the single donation button. People contribute here in lots of different ways not least by their posts. Thanks to everyone for their contributions,

This is all I can find at the moment archie

Completely agree with what you're saying though, and it won't ever be compulsary.

                        Can I make a one-time payment?

                        Lily

While one-time payments are a great feature idea, it's important we stay true to what Patreon is all about: Building a membership platform for creators.

At the moment, Patreon only offer recurring memberships, and one time donations are not available. All patreon memberships are currently on recurring monthly, or annual (if your creator has this available) billing cadence. You can learn more about how creators can bill their patrons, in this article: Understand my payments to creators

For now, the best way for a patron to subscribe to a creator with a one-time payment is to become a patron then simply cancel their membership after they have been successfully billed. You'll know when you have been billed because you'll receive an email confirmation stating your payment has successfully processed.

Additionally, you can check your billing history to review when you were charged and if it has successfully processed.

I'm with Arch on this. Will Deffo make a single contribution when/if available. Worth every penny!

Not sure how to quote kev, or OV. But I know your hosting provider, same as mine, and if you do outside of patreon. It's very easy to add a 1 off donation straight to your business account. Just to note, they take a 2% cut plus 20p. Per transaction. You just have to add stripe.

                              Not sure if patreon charge.....
