Also Atlantic, the reality of a 200/1 ‘treble’ is though it feels great value, you’re only getting 5/1,5/1 & 9/2 for each race. It’s pretty horrific all things considered as a price.
When I took the 225/1 on the Shishkin/Envoi Allen bet in Nov last year ready for March next year, the first thing I did was break it down and worked out it was 16/1 x 14/1. I thought Shishkin to well be a short price a year later for the Champ Chase (not aftertiming, just felt a strong Arkle victory would see to this) and I also thought Envoi would be sitting in around 5/2 to 3/1 after an emphatic Marsh victory. Sadly, that didn’t materialise!!
I just think when these big prices are available, it’s well worth doing your own ‘research’ and considering if it’s value, even if there’s a couple of 0’s at the end.
