On BetVictor to go unbeaten Shishkin is 7/2, Honeysuckle 7/1, Appreciate It 8/1, Kilcruit 12/1 and Bob Olinger 12/1, so in the context of that and the prices Bob is likely to go off at all season, it seems decent... relatively speaking.
    LOL

there’s no way this forum would have missed out of 100/1 for Shishkin to go unbeaten last season lol

may have been Shishkin and Envoi/monkfish to go unbeaten, may for 2 seasons, and for Native River to win the champ hurdle, and to top it off, mad moose to start a race

That's what I was thinking I'm sure there was some massive price for a decent looking unbeaten season thing though, maybe a double.

Shishkin and Envoi Allen to remain unbeaten was 33/1. I backed it 23rd November, don't know if that's the one you were thinking of?

        • Skybet seem to have I Am Maximus (SNH), Boothill (A) and Gerri Colombe (BNH) all to place at 250-1. This seems decent unless I've missed some news about likely Boothill target.

There isn't a huge amount of info around about Boothill that I can see. Not much recent stuff on twitter except a short vid of him on the gallops (https://twitter.com/HarryFryRacing1/...57002413559811) and an RP journo seemingly on a yard visit referring to him as a novice chase prospect (https://twitter.com/JamesBurnRP/stat...83790455435264). Both Jumpers To Follow and One Jump Ahead suggest he'll probably go chasing but that he's on a very handy mark to exploit a few early season handicaps over hurdles. There's no actual trainer quotes or such like. I'm a sucker for bets like this but Harry Fry has only ever actually had one Arkle runner (Rock On Ruby, a 52l 8th in 2014) which is a little bit off-putting before we even get to the Irish challenge. Still, wouldn't want to talk anyone out of 250/1 jobbies like this, we all know what we're getting into and there's far, far worse RABs!

            • Wouldn't want to go anywhere near that Fry stable, horrible horrible form all of last season

Ye it was Shiskin and Envoi to go unbeaten for the whole season 100/1 when I backed it.

Todays is: Appreciate It unbeaten 21/22 (at least 3 runs), Joe Tizzard to train a Chelt Festival winner, Shewearsitwell to place in the Mares Hurdle - 66/1.

                  • I’d want 66/1 just for a Tizzard winner

Interesting that Alex Hammond is part of the Closutton racing club and specifically puts the Mares Hurdle in this one (rather than any race/Champion Hurdle). Very positive for my (and several other people on here's) antepost position on her!

I'd rather buy 33 lottery tickets
p.s no idea what I mean but you get my drift

Whether it makes much difference to the operation or not remains to be seen but Joe is running the show now, Colin takes a back seat.
Joe is highly regarded and is said to have been responsible for the changes that were made that led to performance improvements about 5ish years ago.
                            Colin less highly regarded....

Victor have cut Bob from 12 into 10/1.

really poor them, especially the novice chasers.
