      • I had Mister Coffey added to Sky’s TWAR market last night at odds of 25/1. I’ve only seen him in the Arkle market so far as he was bought as a future chaser and cost ?400,000 so you’d expect Cheltenham to be the plan for the owner & trainer. Henderson didn’t have any entries for the Supreme or Ballymore last festival so maybe Mister Coffey might sneak under the radar and live up to his price tag or continue to disappoint and end up a handicap horse at the festival but I backed him last year and he cost me a few quid so hoping for better this season

Continuously gets held up and needs pace to go out, a fez race could suit that but it's the small field novice races on route that could hinder him and potentially make him stay a big price through the season tbf.

He was generally disappointing last season and maybe his price tag biased expectations. He appeared to be very head strong horse and tricky to settle but he’s still a young horse (6 this year) so hopefully he has learnt to settle and a change of tactics over fences that his taken to the front earlier. His last race at Aintree was over 2 mile 4f so I’ve opted for the TWAR just in case he steps up and the past few Arkle & Marsh fields have been small in numbers so it may suit.

            • With all the JWM talk, just thought I'd post saying that there's a RAB for JWM, Bob Olinger and Honeysuckle to win any race at 80/1. Don't think this will last long

…highlighted at the end of July further back in this thread & it was still 80-1 then.

                • This is by far my favourite request-a-bet on there at the moment.
Honeysuckle (CH), Allaho (RC), Shishkin (QM) & Bob Olinger (AR) All To Win 125/1

2 absolutely nailed on favourites come race day imo.

A bet on them, to win their current planned races, would pay out a lot more

                    25/1 Albert Bartlett
                    4/1 Marsh
                    7/4 Champion Hurdle

with Bet365 is 356/1 (with Cashout)

You could back Bob O at much bigger prices in the Arkle and RSA if you wanted to perm them and get over 1000/1 on the latter one.

The Cashout is king for me, and I would perm them for the Cashout with 365.

Hope Henry has another great year.

Apologies Eggs, just thought I'd bring it up with the recent chatter around here

Personally I have the exact backed as you quote with JWM in the ballymore and the AB but at 33/1 on 365 with Cash out as you said in a trixie. Henry will be a contender in all the championship races for years to come I reckon, and has a great stockpile of novices in both hurdles and fences so I do expect another great year but might be hard to top how good he did this year winning all 3 of the championship races

….I suppose the issue with that is also uncertainty of JWM’s ultimate destination. Honeysuckle’s target would obviously be quite certain.

I tend to look at a/r prices as a guide, Sky go 7/4 Honey, 5/2 Bob O, 8 JWM. The a/r prices seem particularly short compared to this years Festival.

Yep, the 80/1 more or less matches Sky’s three Any Race prices.

The multiple bets on Bob O and Journey With Me (with Honey just the Champion Hurdle) would probably need four (2 x 2), or six bets (3 x 2) but at much bigger prices, and with Cashout. It’s horses for courses really,.

The key thing, is they all look like good horses for 2022, at this point.
