  • I've seen the photo Sax. It looks a horrible break and you have to fear for him.

As a Cov fan, the worst one I remember was Dave Busst's horrible leg break in the penalty aread at Old Trafford. It was truly horrible to see, and the break was so bad that he was at risk of amputation at one stage. It was obviously a career ending tackle. I just hope Fofana recovers and it isn't as bad as it looks.

It must have been great taking your grandsons to their first game. One of those moments that both you and they will never forget. My first game was against Spurs, with a Cov team that included Tommy Hutchinson, Terry Yorath, Mick Ferguson, and Ian Wallace. I stood behind Jim Blyth's goal and I thought he could fly after he made a stunning top corner save. The game is still imprinted on my brain today. I'm sure your grandson's would have preferred it to have been at the other end of the M69, but you can't have everything!

My first game was as an 8yo - 50 years ago in October.

      Leicester 1 Chelsea 1

Got the programme of that game framed and on my study wall, above the computer I am typing on now.

      Leicester Team
      (Manager: Jimmy Bloomfield)

      Peter Shilton

      David Nish
      John Sjoberg
      Graham Cross
      Steve Whitworth
      Rodney Fern
      Jon Sammels
      Alan Birchenall
      Keith Weller
      David Tomlin
      Ali Brown

      --------------

      Chelsea team
      (Manager: Dave Sexton)

      Peter Bonetti
      Ron Harris
      David Webb
      Paddy Mulligan
      John Dempsey
      Steve Kember
      John Boyle
      Charlie Cooke
      Alan Hudson
      John Hollins
      Peter Osgood

      1-1
The Birch scored for Leicester, 18 minutes from time.
Peter Osgood scored the equaliser for Cheltsea in the 90th minute

,.......and no, they wouldnt rather it be Cov, haha, though thats the University that their parents met at.

One is Leicester mad, and the other is ManU cos thats his Mums team, with Leicester as his "second team"

14’s TWAR is decent enough compared to some of the other dreadful prices currently on offer. I’ve backed GoL for both Arkle & Mares Chase and will top up on TWAR before she races again hopefully.

This is now 66/1, Sky limit me to a ‘kin fiver on these RABs so doubt it was my play that created the clip….

They limit me to 20p for a 50/1 shot or bigger.

Takes me 25 days backing the same bet to get to a fiver.

66/1 is a complete nonsense price when he is 33/1 for the Grand National and 12/1 for the X-C.

            • Not a RAB but anyone that has a William hill account, you can get a nice odds boost if you fancy Gin on Lime for the Arkle and Galvin for the National - the double is 1733/1 which can be boosted to 2600/1.

No need to go big stakes at those odds lol

I remember you detailing the re-set times last year (3.30pm for Sky ?) but they must have differing restrictions on us as I’ve tried to go in and press several RABs since March the ones I’ve already played and a message appears that I’ve reached the max, it allows me to use the weekly free bets but that’s it.

66/1 I agree is poor but, assuming the route becomes known and he’ll not be seen over regulation fences until after weights are released, his price for both races will bomb…

Sky is every 24 hours bang on.
I have the time and bet details listed on Google calendar, back and move it each day on there.

Paddy Power is every 1 day and three or 4 minutes.

William Hill is 1 day, 3 hours 48 mins.

                  • Sky bet limits are 24 hours for me too, but RAB limits are re-set weekly I think. Usually I can go back a weelklater and get the same maximum stake on a RAB again. That said I haven't needed to or tried doing so since last season so it may have changed?

My measly RAB restrictions have always reset daily.

Bigger sums maybe weekly if that's what your account shows, though.

tried to get a couple priced up similar to that but for some reason they are saying they aren't looking to offer them at the moment

….I think they’ve been stung & carrying liabilities going into next years Festival.
