We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

....I understand the logic, but I found 2 separate 200-1 RaBs & I imagine some found others. Folk shouldn’t be put off by a price. Admittedly, one involved just two selections, Bob Olinger/Appreciate It to win a/r @ 200-1 (backed on 18.05 & again on 20.06), the other involved 4 selections, Monkfish/Bob O to win Entoucas/Saint Sam to place @ 200-1 (backed in Jan).
Perhaps it was ‘just one of those years’, or maybe leave the bigger multiples until nearer the day.
I think many of these early RaBs involve selections who could easily meet in the same race (Envoi/Monkfish) & that’s what Sky are hoping for. Hills had quite a few where the target was clearly not the race they were offering.
There will be the odd one that offers value to some, even with more than 2 selections but you have to be selective.
Many good points and you of all people have literally spoon fed me value points! I may to rethink this!
Im investing free points in BO and SG both to win any race for the next 16-18 weeks. Its only 11/1 but for free bet purposes I like it

Aren't we fairly confident that they will end up in the Marsh and Supreme respectively (on a scale of all horses we are speculating about)? Just wondering if you'd considered investing say 2 or 3 of your free points in the specific race double at 35/1?

Maybe but you never know. 33 and 50 is tempting, but I don't need the hassle of targets with tiny free bets

My view is that both of these approaches can be fruitful, and it depends on the individual situation. To minimise risk I think charlie's criteria are great and you've provided some rules I'll be trying to stick to, but at the same time, Eggs is right that people shouldn't be put off by big prices. One of the RAB's I've backed for next year is Envoi Allen, Sir Gerhard, Appreciate It and Shishkin 200/1 to win any race. Clearly, it's risky with race targets for Envoi Allen and Appreciate It unclear, but at 200/1 I think that price is worth the risk of them making it to Cheltenham. All four also hit some of charlie's criteria of any race, horses with an injury-free past and previous winners at Cheltenham.
I have loads of these backed as soon as they come out which is when you usually see the best ones. I watch for SB to send them live. It’s also usually worth watching in the summer when they’re not taking much money. Most of the value for now is already gone.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.
I once again made a profit on my Skybet RAB’s this festival, I think I was around 120pts up from RAB’s alone. I didn’t back as many this Festival, probably around 40 during the year but some really juicy ones landed such as Appreciate It and Bob Olinger to win any race at 150/1, Honeysuckle to win the Irish Churdle and Cheltenham Churdle at 33/1 and Sir Gerhard to win the Bumper at 33/1 to name a few. Sky didn’t have as many NRNB RABs this festival but the antepost selection was good. I’ll definitely be adding a few a month from now but on in as I’ve made a profit from them every year from memory.

The odds for 2022 are horrendous though. Might make a difference compared to previous years
First "free ?5 bet" of the new antepost season just landed. Is this the right thread? Is Jonbon at 12/1 still the obvious punt? (It's what I'm doing so probably not) - Do we need a new thread for 2022 or will this thread be moved? (Preferable)
Thanks

Yeah what is up so far is very poor. I’ve not had placed any RAB’s for 2022 yet, I was going to wait until this season has finished in the hope they offer better odds and a bit more imagination
