Hello Fat Jockeys,
Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum
We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

So until the paperwork completes and they get the confirmation we all know these bets may still be live.
Worth remembering the people who run bookmakers businesses are not racing people, they probably know/understand very little about the sport.
It would be nice to think they are all knowledgeable people with a passion for horses and horse racing and the reality couldn’t be further away, they are marketing and accountant professionals, nothing more....

Just seen this one of the Sky RequestABets
Monkfish to win the 2021 RSA, 2022 Cheltenham Gold Cup & Shishkin to win Cheltenham Arkle 2021, 2022 Queen Mother Chase @ 200/1
Thinking this is particularly interesting for those of us who got the similar Shishkin/Envoi double. Obviously it's a 200/1 shot but it would be a nice bit of cover if the big three novices did happen to win, or even if the unthinkable happens and Envoi loses.

They all have Shishkin in don't they.
Not a given that he's favourite next season, Chacun Pour Soi might look like a monster for all we know...
and I reckon Chacun Pour Soi would beat Energumene

Would put you in a very nice position to lay off Shishkin if you wanted to though. Energumene is my biggest winner of the Arkle at the minute anyway!

I think mines still Klassical Dream as a single
I've said all season I think Shishkin will have a PROPER rival, from Willie, and it happens to be a horse I had in my mind for the NH Chase

I'd love some version of an Envoi/Monkfish combo, but chances are they will be going the same way in 2022.
At least you can say you had your eye on him from a long way out? Just don't say which race

Just stumbled across Skys NH ante post double, Barbados Bucks to win 2021 Potato and 2022 Stayers 150/1.
I can’t even make a case for this being value as there has to be a strong chance the horse goes chasing next year but I don’t have him covered in this years Potato race so this is a sort of half cover, and it’s 150/1...

I just think though, next year, with Chacun approaching 10 and likewise Shishkin 8, I do think it might prove the difference. Just my thoughts.
That nagging trend of Henderson shorties in Arkles (Simonsig 8/15, Sprinter Sacre 8/11, Altior 1/4) that go on the next season to chase very easily over 2 miles in open company (we’ll never know about Simonsig, as he missed the following season) and also go off at evens or shorter in that season’s Champion Chase, is a trend I see continuing.
Kev Blake said on yesterday’s Betfair podcast (was questioned on) the validity of Shishkin’s 2 wins over fences this season and the quality of his rivals.
“It’s the times on the stopwatch that’s impressing me.......” was how Kev Blake assessed it.
But the thought of Ricci’s pink & green going up against Donnelly’s yellow and black cheques next season is fairly mouth watering - and it’ll likely be we don’t see them up against each other until the big day too.

Shishkin probably would end up favourite (all things equal) - I agree.
Fair play, no disagreement with any of that... I would still like to see the RAB as it'd perhaps create a wonderful bit of dutching but I can see why the Shishkin one has been done first.
CPS will need to win really, really well, and Shishkin win ugly for me to be in CPS's camp I reckon.
