I think there was a RAB priced up for Bob Olinger to place in any race and it was ridiculously short, 4/6 from memory.

I wouldn't want to tie money up for any more than a week at around evens or less.
Potentially earlier if the market was NRNB - but unlikely still.

....Appreciate It/Bob Ollinger both to win a/r is still 200-1.
The anomaly is they are only 10-1 and 12-1 in Sky a/r list (8-1 and 16-1 in Hills a/r market).
Risk is they both turn up in the same race, but if you think they’ll be kept apart then that double looks a bit of value.Last edited by Eggs; 21 June 2020, 11:14 AM.

I like that one too and I've duly added it, thanks.
The other one I like is Shishkin to win the Arkle, Envoi Allen to win any race, and Topofthegame to place in the Gold Cup, also at 66/1, which I've also added. Everything I have for Envoi Allen is for the Marsh, so I need to start thinking about how I cover the any race option in some multiples.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

There are two Skybet Cheltenham Specials that I like at nice odds.
Melon, The Big Getaway, Captain Guinness and Ferny Hollow all to place in any race 80/1. All look excellent place material and there's no risk with targets given three of them could have more than one option. All have Cheltenham form in the book to varying degrees and experience, and I'd have this as one of the better more speculative Skybet specials around at the moment.
Thyme Hill (AR) & Envoi Allen (MC) both to win & Cracking Smart (AR) to place 1 point 175/1. There's nothing new to say about Envoi Allen. I have Thyme Hill in a good single and he runs through a few of my multiples and I like him a lot for the Stayers. A place any race for Cracking Smart looks good to me in combination. He ran a cracker in the Coral Cup, and he could conceivably go back there with Gordon getting 2 or 3lbs off on the way They could qualify him for the Pertemps final as his run in the Coral suggested he'd be better over further And the other option is novice chasing and my preference, which is a tilt at the NH Chase. A little more speculative then the other one for some, but 175/1 is a lovely price for three horses I really like.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.
