Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Posted last night about exchange moves on Next Destination.....and hope some people managed to get some decent prices. Managed to get decent bit on at 16s and some doubles

Worth watching this eve for any other spots.....will put anything up. Mind, it is difficult to tell as must be loads of rumours about (Blue Lord went out to 30s for Supreme at one point)

This now looks the best renewal of race i can remember.......tho Browns less so. Prob first time looked forward to the race.

Am guessing best result for the forum is Galvin, Escaria or Lord Royal ?

The best result for the forum is Galvin, for sure. Galvin was smashed up by loads last year.

        • Escaria Ten and Next Destination are real dangers for me. Need Ballyadam & Allmankind to both place so I'll have something rolling onto them. If not, I'll just be crossing everything for a Galvin or Lord Royal win.

Galvin would be a fab result agree....and well done to everyone who put him up early.......one of best results of week for me if comes in

Assume Lord Royal must also be popular......been obviously Willie's horse for ages....know i put him up here at 33s and pretty sure others did too at various points. Though whether he wins i am much less sure

Lets hope stable switch ok for Galvin.....fingers crossed

            • Next Destination is a proper Grade 2 horse, so a huge player in this race.

I'm still delighted we're not finding out whether Royale Pagaille is worth his rating in this race though, as if he was, the dream was over....

At least this way, it's not an easy task at all, but it's a LIVE chance still

That's exactly how I feel. I should have covered ND and probably will have to now.

Royale Pagaille's late defection puts a different slant on this and NEXT DESTINATION could be the one to take advantage given Paul Nicholls' sound jumper is an impressive 2-2 over fences and will be suited by this longer trip. Gutsy Reynoldstown victor Remastered is another who will thrive for this stamina test and is feared most, with Irish hopes Galvin and Escaria Ten much respected too.

                  • Unlike Willie to let a good horse go. Surprised at the amount of love for Next destination

                    • By the sounds of it, he was pretty much completely done but Malcolm offered Nicholls a shot at him.

Nicholls has a shocking record in this race. I can't have him, don't like horses changing destinations (like that) late on. Perhaps Ruby Finally got through to Nicholls

When was his last runner in this?

I like Next Destination because the horse's profile, not being Nicholls has a terrible record. I think ND stays all day, feel he'll go well over GS ground, and has some proper strong form, over hurdles and fences

His record in the race wouldn't put me off cause he doesn't target the race does he?

Clear he's running scared of Monkfish. On the one hand I don't blame him, I just wish he'd been a bit clearer as he was adamant for many months and even up until Thursday that all routes lead to the RSA. It is what it is.

I think he has a big chance, but I agree, switching targets (if it is actually a switch) is never ideal. I hope Galvin batters him

                            • Would he train a horse any differently for the RSA to this? Makes no difference.

                              • I can see Next Destination and Galvin being very similar prices at the off

                                5/2 the pair maybe
