We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I thought Patrick gave Asterion Forlonge a lovely qualifying round for this today. Obviously he has jumping issues and he wasn't exactly fluent today. However he did jump dead straight and I thought Patrick rode him to get round didn't ask for any big jumps seemed happy to sit tight. The fact Patrick rode him today was a clue in itself that this was the target imo. I've backed him at 16-1 with 365 if he's declared with Patrick on board I think he goes off around half that price.
He doesn't become qualified at todays trip though does he?

He’s still not qualified. Has to run over 2 71/2 miles before the festival
I think the MO today with Asterion Forlonge was to get a clear round and confidence back into him (also confidence for owners/trainer). Ruby mentioned Patrick had been doing a lot of schooling all week with him in advance of todays race, kept him wide also to give him clear views of his fences. Think the Marsh or RSA is more likely target now unless they get a run into him to get him qualified.

I think Willie said he doesn't think any of his horses this weekend will run again as it's 5 weeks 2 days....
An unhealthy obsession with being 'first' to say something on here.
We're all on the same side aren't we?
Probably shouldn’t bother my arse but happy to read posts like this. There have been times I’ve been on this forum and decided to stay away, the “said it first” obsession is so off putting, well to me anyway. Who put up Horse X up first on this forum doesn’t matter a monkeys does it? Some of the posters considered “regulars” are every bit as bad at it..
Great forum, love the debate.... rant over lol

Certainly agree here... don’t see why it matters who says what first... typical dick swinging contest
I’m not very good at putting my thoughts down in writing and I’ll try my best for this one:
Happygolucky is a horse that I think has a cracking chance here. Especially EW. He’s currently 20/1 with 365.
For me the right profile of the winner in this race is a galloper/sound jumper who isn’t flashy. Carefully Selected was the sexy horse last year - was never winning before a mistake. You need a real grinder in this - I don’t need to tell you all that.
he won over 3m1f @ Cheltenham in Dec handing a beating to The Mighty Don. Now the form hasn’t exactly stood up but HGL wasn’t stopping at the line. He galloped all the way through the line.
Kim Bailey is also enjoying great success this season so he’s from a stable in form.
Galvin for me is the one to beat - I don’t the RP will turn up. Given the nature of the race not many tend to finish - I’m certain this lad will finish the race and should place.

I really like him.
Thoughts?
I like him... sound reasoning.
Not in a rush to add him as he's not 'sexy' so might/probably/will be a fair price on the day?

My thoughts on this horse would mean I'm posting in the wrong thread as I'd really like to see him in the Ultima and I'd think he'd have a cracking chance off 147 and with his profile would go off as one of the favourites. 33s with cash out or 20s nrnb are both fair enough.
4th in the Pipe last year and a winner of a decent novice chase at the course lto - there'll be a lot to like about his chance wherever he ends up

You know VF I didn’t even consider the Ultima... I’ll mull over it and if any bets land today for me I think I’ll probably cover him with cash out! Thanks for that!
