If Gordon hadn't had set his sights on this race since August then I could perhaps see it, but I'm as certain as I can be he comes here because its always been the plan, even more so when the RSA includes the likes of Monkfish and Latest Exhibition.

Re Galvin, I suspect there might be a boatload of stable money riding on him too.....

IMO Gordon will obviously now be hoping that RP takes the Gold Cup route but RP aside, he would probably much rather taken on the rest of the likely line-up here than chance the RSA.
