Both look to have serious negatives.
I reckon Patrick's been on the phone to Ricci.

Which smart arse brought up the Patrick might not ride one for Willie in this race?
Court Maid?
Royal Pagielle?
Is Patrick going to be able to ride anything?
Has that affected the entries?
Does Willie just feel he doesn't have one for this race?
Is Lord Royal actually the one? (HAving backed him for the Stayers I probably should be adding!)
Can't believe Asterion Forlonge would take this up, even if he did, he's had horses I'd have fancied loads, loads more beaten so I'd want to avoid him.
Annoyingly, you just know 100% that EITHER of those did turn up, they'd be shorter, so the trading angle is there.

Having put quite a bit of time into trying to find the Mullins runner in this race, I won’t be going anywhere near either of the 2 left. Galvin looks pretty solid now, although I’m happy to see aforementioned get an entry being one of my first antepost bets this year after he won the Munster national, after 2 disappointments I had him down as an outright loser, although id still be shocked if he made final decs, and he could be one for the Kim Miur as he should get in.

I thought maybe TBB might get an entry but only ones are Ofalltheginjoints & Sizing At Midnight - do either make any appeal? Sizing At Midnight is more experienced and was seemingly going well when falling last time out.
The other one that interest me is Kitty's Light of Christian Williams.
On the plus side he's been progressing steadily this season, but would probably still need to find another 7-10lb to be in with a shout of winning this - if he's entered and the ground is decent (he's only ever run on good ground), there would probably be worse e/w shouts, especially at the current available 66/1 (only 33/1 NRNB).

Also, for anybody it hadn’t occurred to if amateurs really are going to be unable to ride at the festival then it brings up an interesting option for latest exhibition coming here I.e. Bryan cooper wouldn’t have to give up the ride. While he doesn’t strike me as the sort that will be at his optimum over a marathon, similar to Galvin I think he’d just be way too classy for the others to cope with.
