He’ll need 2 runs don’t forget as per the qualification process, I’m a backer that can’t cash out and really am writing this one off as a loss by now. If he were mine, I’d probably stick to hurdles this season and maybe try and get qualified for the pertemps, but I don't really think that’s willies style.

Also he (Five O’Clock’) is a 6yo, just two 6yo winners in last 30 renewals, this shouldn’t surprise anyone given the obvious need for stamina and experience.
I know trends can be a divisive subject but this is a profile type trend so I would be inclined to take more seriously...

Makes sense mate. It a small sort of way it could be similar to the 4yo hurdlers going chasing, Nicholls often gives them another year hurdling. Willie might think another year's experience could work well for Five O'Clock before chasing.

Mullins has thrown horses into that off long breaks or with one run as a prep before.

All quotes have him down as an "out and out stayer" one for the last Pertemps qualifier?
I know he hasn't won it before so probably more CC bound. Would probably like to see him have a run first!

Changes my point slightly, but he'd need to improve lumps for Patrick to bother riding him lol. In hindsight he probably even needs to improve on his hurdle form a fair bit.
