In a race where the favourites look quite vulnerable, one I like against the field is Streets of Doyen and have taken him at a boosted 28/1 NRNB. He's consistently shown improvement for the step up to 3 miles this season, winning over course and distance back in October with Minella Encore and Polish in behind. He also beat Flooring Porter by 5 lengths earlier in the season (albeit in receipt of a stone in weight) and he's been fairly lightly raced since with a run over 2 miles clearly not showing him to his best; but decent ground over a trip seems to suit him well. I just think he fits the relatively experienced & older type that have traditionally fared well in this, and given I'm not blown away by anything at the head of the market he seemed overpriced.
Adrimel is another who looks to have a solid chance after winning what appeared to me to be one of the more competitive GB trials this season in the Leamington, but more keen to wait for the day with him. Fakiera is already in the book after his staying on run behind GDM & Stattler at the DRF, but probably wouldn't back him if I was starting again at this stage. I can't quite figure out what sort of race he'd appreciate most and quite concerned about his ability to stay in touch when they enter the third mile.
Unsurprised by the support for Streets of Doyen given Flooring Porter’s success yesterday, he’s into 7s this morning. Will be going again in with him - decided against adding Adrimel, too many question marks including the ground, trip, british form lines, and the galloping nature of the course.
Had a quick look, and yeah had to ignore Streets of Doyen
Ground is probably the thing that will fall into his favour. Not keen on the Slatter and those in that form line. They look like proper mud larks and wont be able to keep up with early pace
Have heard a couple of good reports about Gavin Cromwell's Vanillier lads, he done a serious piece of work with Flooring Porter last week apparantly. He was sick at the DRF so can put a line though that result. I've cashed out my only punt in the race on Torygraph & put it on Vanillier.

I short listed him, as I really like his profile. PTP, didnt RPR over there, and then fto. Improved on each run.... but I was concerned about the DRF run
Without that, he would have been a selection
Gives me some reason to ignore that run and take a 1pts on 22/1

There were good reports on him earlier in the season.
Darren's Hope has done well since that Limerick race at Christmas. Beaten Stattler over shorter in his maiden.
Forgiving the DRF run, 22/1 5 places with Betfair (25s boosted) is cracking value.

Surely need a saver on torygraph too
I know full well if I cashed one out and switched horses last second the one I deserted would beat my other one in a photo finish haha
