Very much a prep run with the AB in mind, below is from the trainer

"Streets Of Doyen is in good form and has done well for a bit of a break," McConnell said on Tuesday. "He is in the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham, which is obviously over three miles and the race at Naas is two miles but we think he can still run well. I didn't want to run him over that sort of distance at this stage so I have no problem with dropping him back down in trip.
"It will be very much a stepping stone for him to Cheltenham but with the ground being as testing as it is it will ride like a longer race and I would hope he will give a good account of himself this weekend which will leave him right for Cheltenham next month."

      • He's took inspiration from Hendo with Champ , be good to see how he fares with trainer adamant wants a sounder surface tbh irrespective of the trip.

        • No mention of Bothwell Bridge...I've just backed him after today.

Hendo said should be coming here and that was before today..

          Thoughts on performance.

          • Has anyone picked up on any comments from
            Jessie re Ashdale Bob ?
He was found to have mucus in his throat after his Leopardstown run so what appeared a poor run can be forgiven, he looks massively overpriced if fit and there’s any sort of confirmation he runs here.
I’ve got some on already but might find it hard to resist the 25/1 NRNB...

            • Fantastikas did a bit for Barbabdos Bucks and my personal fancy Threeunderthrufive’s form today. Won well off top weight (claimer on board).

I've been trying to find out too. Nothing else has been said since he scoped dirty. I've been monitoring his price on the exchanges and he's been steady over last few weeks. Expecting him to travel over and if he does won't be 25/1 at the off.

                      Wasn’t a handicap for a start
                      wasn’t top weight
beat a 122 rated 8 year old returning from a year off.
I actually thought he could be well handicapped but his last 2 runs look to have shown him to be a bit low rated for the Martin pipe
which although bucks is clearly better and might improve more still. Gives him plenty to do IMO

Glad I paid attention! Only caught it as the flag was dropped up and assumed it was a handicap after thinking I heard he’d carried 7lb more than the second.

                        • Still no confirmation from connections regarding Farouk’s participation here. The exchanges don’t read too well but this market is probably the least fluid of all. Hopefully get an ATR or Racing UK stable tour early next week!

                          • I'd imagine they're doing all they can to get him there. If they can't he'll go to the other Festivals.

                            • Positive mention by Adrian Heskin regards Threeunderthrufive coming here.....thought he was Aintree bound but looks like there’s some life in my 25/1 NRNB voucher - horse with a profile I like for this race personally...

Jamie codd spoke about him yesterday

Didnt say he was injured but didn't sound like he thought he would win this
