Where would you see lecale's article running at Cheltenham, kev ? Assuming he does go there.
Ballymore.... if he's good enough. He'll need to win tomorrow though for sure.... as the owners already have the current market leader AND Hendo has already been a bit flakey about him and minding him....
He's 20/1 NRNB, I think that's fair enough.... as he won't go as an "also-ran" given the two points above.... but if he wins, then this race should suit..... obviously if the step up in trip brings out improvement....
One mans opinion against another. Challow winner.... not the best race to fill anyone with confidence going into a festival, even more so this year. Im afraid there's a dearth of decent Novices in this Country. Too many Graded races without any graded horses on show. I guess you could cling onto the fact that PN has a runner in the race. Not long to wait to see if im right.
Ah Ok, its an opinion, which of course you are entitled to.
Its an opinion though based on a horse that has won his 2 races at the distance very easily. I would be very wary of dismissing a horse so readily that wins races as he has.

Cheers kev. May be worth a dabble nrnb, poor performance tomorrow and surely won't go to the festival, a nice win and he'll shorten up. Owners do seem to get some good horses.

He's won a class3 and a 5 runner Challow with exposed horses. Lets see him in a proper race with quality which he will get in March. It'll be a wake-up call imo. Im afraid he is the epitome of an inflated over-backed horse from these shores.

Yes absolutely.... just posted about it in my diary actually .... #1546

Yes absolutely, lets see him in a proper race, then we can judge.
You are doing it now though , based on him winning races you dont rate, but the problem you have is hes won them easily, and you cannot know where his limit is.
Fingers crossed! As I've mentioned there, people seem to be very forgiving of horses beaten first time out from early on (Bob Olinger / Gaillard Du Mesnil) and now seemingly not being able to see past the head of the market.
Always worth continuing to look for value, especially if you have market leaders backed at bigger prices. I suppose some people see it as a waste of time....but plenty of time on my hands

Neither require much forgiveness do they? Gaillard Du Mesnil has improved chunks and BO went down 1L to the Supreme fav (at the time) over 2m. Given its impossible to know how forward they are on debut, and with the benefit of 2 additional runs to gauge ability, I think both debuts can be pretty much ignored now can't they? Didn't realise Bravemansgame lost too.

Yes, exactly, which is why other horses that have disappointed or didn't win first time out could also improve and be involved in this race when they get chance to show it...
Chances are, the horses are the head of the market now are the right ones, but it's just a bit silly to have forgiven them and not give others a chance to do the same is the point I'm not making very well
