Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

    Morning folks... happy Christmas Eve!

The best five days of the year are finally here.... Cheltenham is the highlight of my calendar and this forum adds massively to the event. Thanks to everyone and lets hope we all have a profitable week and that every horse comes home safe and sound.

Won't be on much myself either, mainly due to alcohol! So look forward to catching up on all the big winners at the weekend

I big thank you from me guys for all your help, advise and guidance over the past 6 weeks. I’ve learnt a lot and feel more confident this year of doing well. Apologies for my naivety and stupidity at times, I do need to think through some of my posts before sending them but I’ve really enjoying ready the threads and posts. Best wishes for the next 4 days and I hope you all have a profitable and enjoyable Festival......let the chaos commence!!

Another thank you here.... It's been a proper journey! You guys are amazing and I've got some cracking bets going into the festival that I never would've even looked at had it not been for you. You're all brilliant, I hope we all have an incredible week.

I anticipate tomorrow will be very busy on here, which is absolutely fantastic - and I just wanted to thank each and every one of you that has taken the time to contribute over the past 12 months to make this forum what it is!

This year has without a doubt been the most active that I've seen and for the overwheming majority of the time, this has been a superb place to discuss horses chances, make cases, give and get advice, "think-out-loud", read people's betting strategies and have also, have a good laugh!

I look forward to the community thriving again over the next 12 months, especially as we analyse our festivals which is always eye-opening and informative...

...and of course, I wish everybody the best of luck with their horses next week, whether that is a punter, owner or fan
Nice post Kev, it has been busy this year, that was the thinking behind the monthly yankees, nothing to do with the actual bets but more intended to keep the forum active.
You're own contributions have been amazing all year though, so a big thanks from me to all the regular posters for all the knowledge, insight and expertise that you share all the time, brilliant, good luck to everyone for Cheltenham and beyond.

Before i make the 15 mile journey to the festival, can i take the time to thank each and every one of you. I am on here 'lurking' every day, i realise i dont post as often as i could, partly due to my inferior knowledge (comparable). Thanks to you guys i'm learning all the time.
I sometimes wonder how you lot remember who won the 2.30 at Bangor, who it beat, by how far, running style, jumping etc. i used to think i was fairly knowledgeable but it is apparent i dont scratch the surface ! I think i have a fairly good book (perhaps with too many non-runners) but am happy with what i have. This is due in no small part to you guys and the time you take to post your opinions.
Hopefully i can contribute more for the 2020 festival.

Once again thank you and good luck to each and every one of you

Please don’t think this! Anybody who loves the sport should sign up, and I’d like to think this website helps everyone, I personally think my knowledge of it has increased 10fold since I joined(not hard admittedly). It’s a game of opinions so whether you’ve been following for a year or for 50 years everyone’s opinion is valid! Websites like Racing post and sporting life mean we have years of information right at our fingertips.

I much prefer seeing a thread title in bold when I log in than not regardless of if I agree with what they are saying
