Yep, they opened the tournament as well vs Portugal.
Who both ended up in the final.

So a - Scooby vs Sharphat, final is a definite prospect.

I went to that tournament and had a brilliant time, even though I got severe bruising from a beating by the GNR.

They stormed a bar we were in with the wife and kids and other families (looking for someone who's thrown a bottle at them in another bar down the strip).

They began by smashing all the glasses off a table where all the women and kids were sitting. As a gesture of strength and that they meant business.

And after holding up my hands in submissive style, they gestured for me to run, along with all the other people in the bar.

When I started running (limping like a twat, cos I was suffering with chronic back pain at the time), They chased us all down the street and battered the backs of my calf's with their batons.

I'm sure the TV coverage will have looked like a bunch of hooligans running from the Police. But that was Fake News.

But the minibus taking Group A home wouldn't be stopping off anywhere nice for ladies, drugs and food.
You'd be squabbling over the Scooby snacks scattered on the Minibus floor.

I dont think any of us in Group A are playing our hand too early, there's a long way to go

This really is a great competition and makes cards/races that wouldn't otherwise hold much interest really fun. Jan - Feb can be a bit of no mans land when it comes to racing cause we're all waiting for the DRF the Cheltenham, so this is a great comp to pass the time .

Thank you to all those involved - hard work on it very much appreciated, a sentiment echoed by all I'm sure.

Fortunately I backed all of mine yesterday so 2021 started with a bang!

I think we'll have big priced winners in the hurdle races today. Heavy ground and a few false favs I think. Could do with Metier getting beat, the whole forum seems to be on him!

Crolwey113 and TheRowebot only differ in the Veterans Chase other matches depend on just two races.
