Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Just woke up from a nap (been a strenuous day of trying not to gamble my war chest away) so will get started logging all the suggestions and going from there, will be ready for 5pm as promised

Right so I’ve totally up the scores and then used my own input to help make this Yankee

                        Tiger Roll - XCountry
I only want one shorty in it as the idea of having 2 winners in a Yankee and not making money is a horrible thought, as a result I had to choose 1 out of Tiger Roll, Epatante, Benie Des Dieux and Paisley Park.

I have serious doubts about Eptantes form, we she’s won well but I fear that the quest to avoid the penalty will be a down side if she gets into a battle. The only horse to have any form from one of her races is Ey Up Rockey who won last week, but even then Epatante was getting weight from her!
Paisley Park, far too skinny as a result of beating West Approach. While I think he’s more chance than Sam spinner last year due to how he runs he won’t have gone the gallop that Faugheen will ensure and also Supersundae is a grade 1 horse over shorter so if it’s a sprint he isn’t guarantee to blaze past everyone. I think it’s easily forgotten SS was within two lengths of Penhill but everyone says he doesn’t stay.
Finally Benie, I think she’s rock solid, so it was a toss up, and Tiger Roll is a forum favourite

                        Lisnagar Oscar

In my opening post I mentioned that I follow few trends but the amount of runs prior to the Albert Bartlett is one them. With 3 votes LO is joint second in the voting, and he has a great chance. He has had three Hurdle runs which is required, he has form that puts him ahead of a lot of the principles.
                        A beating of Dickie Diver
A beating of Kateson - who while I think was below par, was beaten out of sight in comparisons to the poorly run Challow
A beating of Ask ben - burst the bubble of a horse who was seen as a dark horse in this
                        Avenged his loss to Rockpoint

I think we would also all like to see Rebecca’s curtis get some camera time

                        Dallas Des Pictons
I think half the forum must be on him already, and he tied LO as joint second on the votes. Hugely talked up by Gordon even before the previews and it’s a race that we know he targets thanks to his history with Pipe. Potential for his form to be boosted in the pertemps with Cuneo - a horse I really fancy - 3 lengths off City Island which could again look great come Friday evening. Could be a great ending to the festival if we are 3 from 3!

Finally it was difficult to choose a final leg, didn’t want to be focused on the Friday as we have two selections on it.

This will possibly be a bit of an unpopular pick but not here to make friends just money.

                        Abolitionist - Pertemps
I didn’t want to pick a race where we had a vote for which left a couple of the handicaps and I plumped for the pertemps.
Abolitionist my go against the recent trend of young progressive horses, but he is 11lb in on his chase mark of 145, so where as the young horses are improving past their mark, he only needs to run to his chase mark to be nearly a whole stone in hand. Winners of qualifiers don’t have a great record but he will have needed to win in order to get his mark to a level where he can get in and he again won with plenty in hand. Sire du Berlais is a bit of a hot favourite but the Martin Pipe will need Discorama to win the 4mile TJ have any sense of good form about it and I think his price is solely based on the manner of qualifying.

Best odds of 2495/1 with William Hill

Best odds by a long way, 2 winners will equate to a profit and if Abolofionist comes in then we are really on course for some profit

                          A) Sorry for the delay

                          B) I’m aware Abolotionist may not get in but think heeds 3 to come out which I would be shocked if they didnt
