        The water table is low. I doubt it will be soft.

          If, and its obviously a big if, the BBC 14 day forecast is to be believed there is quite a lot of rain forecast between now and the festival. I used to walk the dog round the course daily and as much as I want it be soft, it drys out very quickly.

                        I agree the weather forecast over the next 10 days for Cheltenham has a lot of rain in it. I am not backing anything on Thursday or Friday of the Festival that hasn’t shown some of their best form on soft ground.
