Hello Fat Jockeys,

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I did notice they were offering cash back more recently.... would be a very generous offer!

Can't help but feel if they do it will be if 2nd/3rd and not if losing like with the free bets back. If they do cash back on all losers then fir feckin play!

Wouldn't be a big shock if it's money back all losers.... 20 quid max stake ... if they gave you the 20 back, how many people would withdraw that instead of putting it on another race?

I'd be so confident they make more because they give the cash back than if they gave a free bet ... for volume of people taking it.

Especially in an open looking renewal ... and any punters that can punish them are restricted and betting more than £20 anyway.

They've only restricted one of my 4 accounts but they'll all be gone soon haha

            SkyBet offer is now live!

Cash back instead of a free bet, is that an upgrade from last season?

It's on all losers too for EVERY first race at the festival.

Yep, normally it’s money back as a free bet on losers. Monster of an offer! Let’s see if the other bookmakers can compete with that offer!

Key term is that if you choose a non-runner you get to play again. With that in mind and bearing in mind PP are now 5/1 Klassical Dream the 10/1 on KD is where i’ll be investing this morning

*In the Ballymore in case that wasn’t clear

I agree with Kevloaf. Its a great marketing ploy to lure the punters in, if it be existing customers to deposit £20 in, or lure new customers in, i cant knock it as to the eye it looks and is the best offer out there, but its a smart offer as how many are just going to bet the £20 and just walk away with winnings? Majority Gamblers will put it back on and chase the bigger win in the further 6 races that day and probably end up losing the £20 in the long run!

Im doubting myself though Im near sure they gave me the same offer last year? The previous year they gave me £50 max money back as free bet first race

Yeah not denying £20 is going to do them much damage even if it's 1000s of punters , more the logic that when they give out free bets there reliant on the punter winning to get anything back where as this way plenty could spread the £20 through the rest of the day as it's what they would if spent regardless . Hey I'm not complaining also the rule 3 under there T&C is nice touch so can back an early one now at good price and if not linning up can use the offer again, fair play .

It's a great offer, would make no sense to do this for the Grand Annual....

Anyone got any early fancies for this? Might as well back the outsiders

Same here - best Festival yet last year & a lot of that was the RequestABet “to place” NRNB multiples. You only need a couple to come in & the week’s made.

I'll hold on to them for as long as possible...

Night before kind of thing.... plug any gaps, take a flyer...

Still too early for me, despite getting to have another go if it's a NR

Skybet have gone money back as cash in the first race each day.

Can someone clarify please.....does that mean that the first bet I place from today on any of the first race's, then this will count towards the promotion?
