    cheers chin.
25-1 seems value, but won't be ringing up just yet.
maybe prior to any run at punchestown.

Wow, I snapped up the 12/1 I found on Sky last night and thought I was getting value...

          • In the spirit of this thread, one I've got firmly in the tracker is Good Boy Bobby for Twister. He looks a classic chasing type, but showed good scope over hurdles once he got the hang of it. If you put a line through his Ffos Las run in the mud - which I think is fair enough - he was otherwise unbeaten. He might fly a little under the radar for early-season novice chases next term given how easy a season he was given over hurdles.

Only problem is if owners the Rooneys throw their toys out of the pram again about Cheltenham!

            • I agree with you about Goodboy Bobby, I followed him in bumpers and did well although he was often at short odds but I think he will develop into a decent chaser

              • Hello,

My apologies as I wasn’t sure the best place to pose this Question and didn’t want to start a new thread either.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any good books? or Articles on National hunt breeding and progeny. I’ve got very limited knowledge in this area, but i’ve Started to take more of a keen interest in this side of things. I want to know why breeders choose certain Sires and what breeding does well! There seems to be limited information around so if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

                Thanks

                • Fully aware it won’t happen but Laurina v Apples Jade v Benie v Honeysuckle in the Mares Hurdle would be some race

                  • Interested to see how Quick Grabim runs today. Does anyone have any info/quotes on where he may be targeted next year?

                    • No but that 66/1 for the champion hurdle looks too big

My thoughts exactly KS. If he wins today what price is he? Just wanted to see if anyone had heard if he would stay over hurdles because similarly if he wins today and then goes chasing he might be an Arkle contender.

                        • Klassical Dream really is an impressive animal, I hope they stay over hurdles

That really impressed me and hopefully they keep him over hurdles. I can't imagine why they'd send him over a fence after this season.
