Think BHA estimate might be a little bit off.
As looking at the ones on higher marks, a lot don't look certain runners to me,
        But it's an option.
The entry is ambitious which i see as a positive though.

I'll be going through them all later with a marker pen.

And he's on 128 which is even more touch and go.
Backed him last night at 10-1 when i realised his mark was so low.

            • Think Gordon may send Couer sublime here and Surin triumph.
would suit my bets but don't expect either to win anyway.
Don't see why he would run Surin off 133 without an allowance.
She'd be effectively rated 140 in triumph.
Couer sublime can run in winter off 138 I think.

              • Will Gordy send Coko Beach as well do we think? Him and Lethal Steps would do for me at this stage

The preview night thread has Surin possibly going mares novice route

                  • im a big fan of Band Of Outlaws but he looks a little high for this.
One of interest at the weights is Maze Runner for W.Mullins. He's in nicely on 129. Very interesting formline.

I took 25/1 NRNB on Capone who is one of said lurkers. That being said off 127 with the handicapper predicting 130 makes it unlikely he will get in. It's a shame because I really like him for this. Was significantly closer to Quel Destin last time out having been given a quiet ride and brought into the race late. He beat Torpillo easily, now rated 141 and Cracker Factory by 13 lengths who has gone on to run grade 1 winning Quel Destin to a length at Cheltenham. I think this was the plan all along. Based on what he did behind QD and in front of Torpillo I am surprised he isn't 129+. We'll see but its NRNB

Looked at him earlier today - think I read about him somewhere *hold on*

                            Yeah, ATR website:

                            Fanfan Du Seuil (FR)

                            Track

What he did for 90% of the Triumph trial in December is more pertinent than the last 10%, considering the conditions, when he was beaten a length having traded at 100/30-on, and that’s Fanfan Du Seuil’s only defeat when completing. The main event may be off the agenda (though he still has a Triumph entry), but a mark of 136 makes the Boodles – some say the Fred Winter – a very tempting alternative, looking to have the right qualities for it, particularly his high cruising speed, bred as much for the Flat as the jumps.

Then I started looking at his form, and thought through Our Power he's better than Style De Vole...then realised that means nothing to me and got distracted by looking at the weights.

                              • Have looked at the last 6 years. Diego is a huge trend buster but he came straight from France so I am allowing leeway for horses who have come straight from France.

                                5/5 1 win in last 3 starts.
                                5/5 Completed last 3 starts.
5/5 at least 2 runs in the new year.

That leaves you with the following:
