Right.. so this may or may not work but I thought it might be fun to add a fake betting angle to Diamond Geezers excellent tipping competition.
Effectively, the competition here will be a competition where individuals must bet ?20 each week across whichever matches they choose on Diamond Geezers competition - I’ll have
So entries closed and this is the schedule for the five Group matches with the top two in each group moving forward to the knockout stage on Jan 23rd at Ascot. Please note the schedule is subject to change and may be influenced by abandoned meetings, small number of fields etc.The draw will be made next week and posted once the pre Christmas racing is completed.
You have to televise that draw - a la Champions League style, and maybe seed the groups.

Drawing someone like Ista in your group (I don’t mean you personally Brital) will definitely have you priced up at a bigger price than they would normally over in the betting comp..
Gutted I missed out on this, however on the upside it means I can be the classic armchair spectator, ultra critical and after-timing everything! I will have to randomly pick someone to support too, which on itself will be a kiss of death!

I don't get much time on Sundays and with so much top Irish racing coming on the sabbath it would be pointless me getting involved in this.

Fatcatshat and Bookie Basher are the first two, so 6 more asap please. Definitely the last chance.
