I really should be up to speed on this but I’m not usually one for Yankees or Lucky 15’s etc. but placed a few this season, how does an ante post Yankee work out if one leg doesn’t run or make it to the festival, do the remaining doubles/trebles still stand?

Correct, unless its NRNB, then that individual selection is a loser and will automatically make any singles, doubles, trebles etc associated with that selection a loser. But doesn't kill the entire bet - In lucky 15, if one selection doesn't run, then 1 single, 3 doubles, 3 trebles and 1 accum are now losers out of the 15 bets, leaving 3 singles, 3 doubles, 1 treble still live.

If NRNB, the 1 single, 3 doubles, 3 trebles and 1 accum that would have been lost - the single is returned stake, doubles now become singles on the other 3 selections, trebles become doubles on the other 3 selections and the accum is now a treble. Your remaining 3 singles, 3 doubles and 1 treble are also still live. Hope all that makes sense

I’m pretty new to Cheltenham betting but noticed pretty quickly the last couple of years I’m better off waiting until much closer to the day for my handicap bets. I’ve been pretty disciplined this year but starting to twitch now!!

Stupid question incoming…….I’ve been saving my skybet free bets all year to use (waste!!) on the handicaps this year. If I start to use them now in the NRNB market, if they are a non runner, do you get your free bet back?!

You should yes. One suggestion for you is to make sure you put a small amount of cash with your free bets if you're using them all at one time. I used the majority of mine at the festival last year and suspect that got my account flagged to the restrictions it has now. Since then I've done (e.g.) 2.50 cash with 5 free bet on most bets to make sure I have some financial risk for their systems but it's obviously too late for me to know if that matters or not

I had several free bets with paddy power on NRNB markets last year that they refused to return. Therefore, this year I have gone on to their live chat to ask the question (where they’ve stated they will return free bets) and screenshot it in the hope I can use that as evidence this year if they try the same thing again. Might be worth doing similar as a safety net?

Those PP free bets are only valid for a really short amount of time. The sky bet ones appear to be basically forever. Which may explain the above or may be completely shite

I met a fella at Sandown today, he has 1391 quid in free bets with Sky, I mean he's literally looked for, found, and hoarded these free bets all year, just so he can have a go at Cheltenham with their money.

Just to circle back on this - I spoke to sky on live chat and they confirmed you would get free bets refunded if the horse is a non runner.

That particular market doesn't exist anymore, would the bet stand if it comes in?
