It's normal to think that heavy ground favours stayers but on today's goodish ground horses who stay at least the trip have done well - maybe because faster ground encourages faster run races?

I've backed Silver Sheen antepost with BFSB in the Pertemps. At no.37 it looks unlikey that he will get in now. Money lost or will I get it back?

Cracking discussion on this the other week that I'd like to hear again but if he's entered and then doesn't get in due to rating / field size (i.e. is balloted out) then you'll get money back.

Only the Supreme was overly strong today from what I could see. Every other race they were tightly bunched coming down the hill, partly due to pace and partly because of the ground.

….i think the Tote Exacta would be voided, not sure if yours was a Tote bet.
