Had American mike for the BANC back in November at 25/1 - bets settled as a loser.

    Anyone experienced this before?

    • Personally say loser as they would have changed the market when he pulled out and have now re jigged it when supplemented. So the make up is different.

There is no way on this earth that the bet should be settled as a loser.

It won't be settled as a loser if AM wins.

It's clear cut. Nothing has changed to the race, other than he has been supplemented.

          • Update - checked mine & bet is still unsettled

            Hope that helps

            • Surely whether a horse has been supplemented is irrelevant as you've backed them in the race they run in?

                Thumbs up for this.
might have to prompt them but it should stand.

only caveat is a random bookie adding terms and conditions to cover this scenario.

I find it worrying that Lobos would have accepted that as a loser,

I definitely would have. Fair play to 365. Wouldn't have backed him in the first place though

                          • You be expecting a refund on your other bets if a fancied one was supplemented?

Now I would yeah. Works both ways doesn't it. Imagine being on SAF at big odds in the BANC who drops-down to 7/4 fav and FTF suddenly gets supplemented to completely scupper his chances. It gets you thinking doesn't it.......

Antepost you are betting knowing the field is uncertain and only that they will win the race regardless of opposition. If anyone backed AM and doesn't get paid out when he wins there should be a lot of noise being made
