Asked the question at Chester preview tonight about The Storytellers handicap mark and their thoughts
Henry Daly replies saying that about 5 years ago the U.K. handicapper made the move that your marks must be within 10lbs of each other to stop that very sort of thing happening resulting in long odds on shots dotting up after being reverted.

I doubt we see this situation again for a couple of years but something to remember

....i’d love to know what Canardier’s target is. So many entries, given a positive mention on a couple of Preview nights. Won on its only run this season at Cheltenham and looks like it’s been put away, but for what?

The trainer said the Martin Pipe last week & someone posted a link to the RP article with quotes, I’m hoping that’s still the plan as it’s the only race I have him covered in off the back of those quotes.

He’s a rogue.

I think he needs a pace in front of him to keep him concentrating, you’re not going to get a better race for that than the Grand Annual.

We need to go through this thread to see if we pulled up any successes, but looking forward to this being tested tomorrow (from page 2)

Not Another Muddle for gary moore surely he can land 1 at cheltenham this year and i think this is his best chance by far. But why is the weight so low?
