Discorama 20/1 NRNB Close Brothers Novices Handicap Chase

I really like discorama for this, most likely destination I’d have thought?

Last few years bottom rating to top rating as follows,
It changed to 145 last year (so might alter the dynamics a bit, and the ground thinned them down last year for sure)
2018 - 137/145
2017 - 137/140
2016 - 136/140
2015 - 134/140
2014 - 131/140

It was definitely becoming more condensed each year and was looking like it last year too, until the ground came up heavy. I remember being surprised Mister Whitaker got in as he was way down the list at the 6 day stage.
But Kev mentioned on another thread that the lack of runs some horses have had could stretch the bottom to top ratings this year.

But 134 looks too low as others have said, which in a funny way makes the money for him today seem very confident, as though they expect another hike ? ( He could obviously get another jump for sitting in his stable, due to the subsequent form of those in behind him last time out)

Not sure if this has already been mentioned but NotwhatIam was a massive eye catcher on saturday in the Pertemps and is one Id fancy for the final if he is high enough rated to get in the race. Id be pretty sweet on his chances if he got in.

It’s looking that way based on the trips he’s been running at. At the beginning of the season I’d have said further but they’ve stayed around 2 and a half miles.

That'd be my best guess,
The money for Forsa today, which might not be much, could well be via connections as they may have the knowledge that he will be entered no matter what, and worst case scenario balloted out, if he doesn't get high enough rated.

Does anyone know if he’s had his mark upped following Glen Rocco’s impressive win at the weekend - that could help him get in & be enough for some to go in now?

There was an extra 3 1/2 furlongs on roccos race shouldn’t effect it

Lough Derg Spirit would interest me if he re-opposed Glen Forsa. Waiting on weights tba tomorrow, but suspect he'll need another run and run well to get in, after his below par performance LTO, returning from wind surgery.
