What I don't like about him is the change in trip, I think the only hcap winner he has had that has had a change in trip from last race great than a furlong was Cause Of Causes who went from 2m G2 Chase to the Kim Muir

                    • Last 5 years Gordon has had 14 runners to run prior to 31 Dec, complete all starts of which there had been at least 3, run in a grade race and at either Punchestown or Fairyhouse.

                      Record is as follows:

                      4 Wins 1 2nd 1 3rd 1 4th from 14 runners.

If you remove Fred Winter horses that improves to

                      4 Wins 1 2nd 1 3rd 1 4th from 10 runners.

                      • Tully East - thoughts people. I was interested for the Grand Annual but he is only entered in the 3 hurdles hcaps, Pipe, Coral and County. Which one ?

I've backed coral and pipe both nrnb.

Jono made a nrnb case about him stepping up to 2m4f and showing improvement before he won the close bros and I've stuck with that.

Not well handicapped over fences anymore ...

                              • As someone who doesn't currently have a runner in the Coral Cup (assuming The Storyteller doesn't come here) will be delighted if Vision Des Flos rocks up here as had a decent Any race bet earlier in the season, sounds like there is a reasonable chance he will based on this Tizzard quote:

“He stayed on well there. He travelled really well. He is in the Champion Hurdle and the Coral Cup, and on that running I’d say he would go for the handicap. You never know, if there is not many in the Champion Hurdle we might go there yet.”
