Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Sir Erec is too short that's why I'm laying him. Don't need to stick your neck out in a race like that.

And I'd be deffinately hoping lamarckise can finish infront of chief justice as an opener. Id be mighty dissapointed if she can't

            Hardly. Altior isn't 7/4.

I've given my 1234 in terms of who i fancy,
but only backed lamarckise today, small stakes, as it looks like they think it's worth a pop

difference between back and lay FFS

                • You missed the point. You're comparing two different % chances. Taking a position on Altior is not comparable to taking a position on Sir Erec. Plenty will assume Sir Erec will progress and take 7/4.

"Lamarckise is a filly who works well at home and we've decided to run her in a Graded race thinking that if she wins then great, and if she doesn't she'll still be a novice next season. It's not ideal, but it's just the way the season has been."

answer to sentence one = you missed the point boopa, not me.

sentence two = my comparison was, lay a 7/4 fav (at 4/7) or back a 4/7 fav.

sentence three = as a confident piece of advice, "just lay Sir Erec" is not comparable or as solid a piece of advice as back Altior. So you're correct.

sentence four = yes they will, and they may be right , they may be wrong.

                          • Impressive although I get the impression he got the run of the race a tad.

                              • Sir erec was good. The race as a whole looks nothing special with chief justice still there
