      Under performing?

Did he not win the Grade 2 Ascot Hurdle yesterday? I'd say that is VERY IMPRESSIVE for a "bang average" horse. He's shown he's better than Old Guard, and has more room for improvement.

People (myself included) thought he was an interesting horse at 40/1 for the CH - now that isn't the case anymore, I wouldn't back him at 66/1 for it now...but I don't think you can start sticking the boot in at people suggesting horses at big prices, whether you agree or not, some reasons behind the opinions would be appreciated.

When I used the term bang average it was in relation to his form yesterday and in the Elite (i.e a similar performance), and also in respect of being a serious contender (rather than outsider) for the Stayers and Champion hurdle. We've seen him twice now and he needs to improve a lot based on those two runs.
The form of his two races this year are a handicappers dream and they have almost run pound for pound to their ratings, due to all the collateral form with the mare and Old Guard etc.

I thought that the stayers hurdle angle mentioned by one or two was a bit of a hopeful one, borne out of a belief in the horses ability and unwillingness to admit to his likely limited talented (albeit still a very good horse, who's only had two runs this season and could prove to be better, given a differently run race or track conditions etc). If you take Rayvin Black out of the race, no one would have thought it smacked of a stayers performance, i think it illuded to that.
But I've seen enough personally to get a feel where he ranks and will bet him accordingly.
hope you don't think I was sticking the boot in , cos I quite hoped and still hope he can prove to be even better than he's shown.

Not at all, perfectly fair - I agree completely regarding the handicapper and his mark, I did for a brief moment consider him as a Coral Cup horse but stopped pretty quickly

Top class bumper horse, ptp winner, green and backwards last year. Had a summer to strengthen up, sure to improve this year . One to really look forward to.

I'd be dissapointed if he can't go close in the Lexus. Id agree his jumping can be improved. But he's lightly raced and hes learning on the job. he's some engine to get away with it and still find plenty at the finish. iv a lot of faith in him and he's deffinately improvement in him. I'll be suprised if he isn't the mullins 1st string come March.

She has the stormy Ireland form who'd have won this last year no bother, ( if she swapped with laurina) She's had a year to mature. Expect to see her at fairyhouse after Christmas in the
Solerina (Mares) Novice H´dle (Grade 3)* where she'll take some beating .

He's the top rated hurdler going in to this season's novice chase ranks. Always looked a big gangly frame of a horse. This is his time. Expect to see him in the grade 1 racing post novice chase at Christmas. And don't be suprised if he's odds on all the way to the arkle.

Plenty of time for that Scooby. You'll get them from me when I'm ready.

Your method of staking is different to mine. I'm not interested in backing 20 horses at long odds with a vain hope of holding a winning ticket(triumph last year).

As for ITCF, I told you all last year he was a sentimental over bet horse, and so it proved. Laying him proved very fruitful for me last year. I put up my 2 lays of the festival, Sam Spinner & ITCF.

I made 18 points profit in the triumph last year. Thankyou.

I am quite happy to disagree with anyone on here and an wrong more often than I am right. If we all thought the same about every race there would be no betting markets.

ITCF missed the festival through injury though? Not sure that makes you a soothsayer, being honest!

I think that point would be lost. Poor taste imo.
I was sat on tickets of 120.0 100.0 for the supreme and 25s any race. How de we know he wouldn't have won the supreme on what we've seen this season? For all we know he could finish infront of summerville boy in the Christmas hurdle. They're not all going to be superstars.

You’re acting like he ran in the Supreme and finished a 30 lengths last.

I had him from before the season started at 50s and 33s. He shortened to 5/1 favourite before his injury. And here’s you boasting that he was a lay when he only didn’t run (and very possibly win) because of an unlikely injury.

With Santini (RSA) and Willoughby Court (Ryanair) both set to return this weekend, we could add them to Lalor and Malone Road?
