  • Envoi has a worthy 2022 Gold Cup opponent me thinks. Great race today. Brilliant jump at the last when under some pressure. Proper chaser ! Ooozes class.

    • Yh very solid favourite for the RSA now did jump slightly right at a few but I'm pretty sure that was to do with the front runner jumping massively right at every fence and just caught his eye. Latest Exhibition much much better he wants to go left handed from now on. Think thats the 1-2 in the RSA ( especially if Shan Blue doesn't run).

      • Gold Cup winner 2022. That 75/1 on him
to win the RSA & 2022 GC is shaping up nicely

        • Monkfish looks very very good. I took the view that people got over excited by a facile debut win but there's nothing about what I just saw that isn't seriously exciting! He skips over fences like they are hurdles, handles Cheltenham, can front run or come off the pace. Loads going for him. Well done those on at big prices

          • Great races from the pair of them, i think the ground suited LE more today and Monkfish may want it a tad softer to be EVEN better. Very happy indeed with them both.

He jumped to the left so cant have been his running going right handed previously

              • The 3 novice hurdle winners from last time to win the 3 novice chases next time looks rock solid right now.

                • wonder if that'l push them to run the big getaway in the NH chase now

                  • and Yes LE seems better left handed as well as been pointed out.

                    • Monkfish is something else. And Latest Exhibition ran a blinder too.
The English will struggle to get near those two for me in the RSA. I think they would have pulled plenty clear from the Kauto Star Novices a few days back.

Straight forecast in the RSA for me.
                      Monkfish
                      Latest Exhibition

                        I agree

Id personally have stamina doubts for envoi at Cheltenham

I really really really hope we get to see them go head to head at punchestown at the end of this season

Can't wait to see him and Envoi go head to head.

Or Marsh? They will want a credible challenger in that race and they won't be running scared of EA

                            • Id definitely favour Monkfish over EA for the 2022 Gold Cup.

                              • If everything goes to plan in a few months time I’d be tempted to get them both onside with an Envoi (Champion Chase) Monkfish (Gold Cup) double as I have no doubt EA would have the speed for that trip.

Having said that I couldn’t not look forward to a clash. Could be this generations Kauto v Denman...!
